Our studies are mainly focus on the distribution of diseases in free-living wildlife population. Particularly, our interesting is to understand how the ecological changes and human activities influence the incidence of disease in wildlife population and transmission between wildlife-human and domestic animals.

The subjects and knowledge related with our research works include conservation medicine, wildlife disease ecology, wildlife disease management, molecular epidemiology, landscape ecology, Geographic information system, veterinary clinical diagnosis and techniques. Specifically, our recent study projects include: the ecology of rabies virus in ferret-badger population, survey of macro- and microparasite infection in Formosan macaques, association between carnivore protoparvovirus infection in small carnivores and landscape factors, spatial and temporal distribution of avian influenza virus in migratory waterfowls.
